Function File: [m, v] = tstat (n)

Compute mean and variance of the t (Student) distribution.

Arguments

• n is the parameter of the t (Student) distribution. The elements of n must be positive

Return values

• m is the mean of the t (Student) distribution
• v is the variance of the t (Student) distribution

Example

          n = 3:8;
          [m, v] = tstat (n)
